Frequently asked questions
Everything about mounting, load, cleaning and ordering.
What can I put on the shelf?
It is meant as a surface for media and tech devices: DVD players, receivers, speakers, game consoles, cable boxes and TV accessories. In short — the things you like within reach of the TV, kept tidy.
How much weight can the shelf hold?
It is designed as a light surface for typical media devices such as DVD players, receivers or small speakers. Spread the weight evenly across the pane and avoid placing a heavy load right at one edge. A floating glass shelf is not intended for very heavy or bulky items.
How does the floating effect work?
Through a concealed bracket: the load-bearing parts sit behind the pane and stay hidden, so the shelf appears to float freely on the wall. All you see is the black glass surface and what stands on it.
How do I mount the shelf?
The shelf is intended for wall mounting. Align the bracket carefully so it sits level, and use fixings suited to your wall type. If you are unsure about the installation, ask a qualified professional.
Which walls is it suitable for?
Solid, load-bearing walls such as masonry work best. On lightweight or hollow walls, choose anchors made for that wall type. When in doubt, a quick word with a professional helps.
How do I clean the glass surface?
Wipe it with a soft, slightly damp cloth, using a mild glass cleaner if needed. Avoid abrasive products so the smooth, matte look stays intact.
